About The Preserve

The Preserve at Oak IslandThe Preserve sits on 42 acres nestled between the Oak Island bridge, the Intracoastal Waterway and Brunswick County Airport. People can fly in, stay in their condo and play a round of golf, or take out their boat from a local nearby marina.

At this point, Building 2, the one closest to the waterway, is finished and 36 of the 37 units are sold. Building 3 is the next building north, and it is also complete, with 29 of 67 units available. Building 4 is farther north, closer to the airport, and it has 30 units. It is complete and ready to sell. Work will continue on building 5 which wraps around the pool and clubhouse with a large pond adjacent to it

The Pool at The PreserveThe Preserve offers one-bedroom to three-bedroom units, some with views of the waterway or on-site ponds. The clubhouse has a fitness center and beautiful pool. Tennis courts would be put in near the bridge and community gardens for vegetables and flowers will spring up in different areas. The road to the Preserve will be landscaped, and the building pad for Building 6 will soon be cleared.

There are new plans for a day dock on the Intracoastal with a gazebo and an area for canoes. There will be a picnic and grill area near the pool and work continues on a boardwalk connecting different areas of the community, tapping into a trend of fitness through walking and giving the area a neighborhood feel.
